The Food City ("we", "us") provides this app so guests can view our menu and place dine-in or delivery orders. This policy explains what information we collect and how it's used.

Information we collect

• Name and phone number — collected when you place an order, so we can confirm and contact you about it.
• Delivery address — collected only for delivery orders, so we can deliver your food.
• Order details — items ordered, order notes, and order history tied to your phone number.
• Table/session info — for dine-in orders, the table you're seated at.

We do not require account sign-up, passwords, or email addresses. We do not collect payment card details through the app — payment is handled in person or via cash/UPI at the restaurant.

How we use this information

• To take, prepare, and fulfil your order.
• To contact you about order status if needed.
• To remember your details on your device (via local storage) so you don't have to re-enter them on your next visit.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Order data is stored securely with our backend service provider (Google Firebase) solely to operate the app.

Data retention

Order and customer records are retained as long as needed for restaurant operations. You can ask us to delete your data at any time by contacting us below.

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
