This Privacy Policy explains how Hyderabadi Zaika ("we", "our", "the app") collects, uses, and protects information when you scan a table QR code or open the app to view the menu and place an order at our restaurant.

- Name and phone number — collected when you place an order, so restaurant staff can confirm and serve your order.
- Delivery address — collected only if you place a home-delivery order.
- Order details — items ordered, table number, order status, and order history.
- Device storage — your name, phone number, and address may be saved in your browser's local storage on your device, so you don't have to re-enter them on your next visit.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect passwords, payment card details, or government ID information through the app.
How we use this information
- To take, prepare, and deliver/serve your order correctly.
- To contact you about your order if needed (e.g. delivery updates).
- To recognise you as a returning customer and pre-fill your details on future visits.
How we store and protect information
Order and customer information is stored securely using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), a cloud database service with industry-standard security controls. Access is restricted to authorised restaurant staff and admins.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Information is only used internally to operate the restaurant's ordering system.
Your choices
- You can clear your saved details at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this app.
- You can ask restaurant staff to delete your customer record from our system.
Children's privacy
This app is intended for use by customers placing food orders and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
